Stop! Or My Grandfather Will Shoot!

When Sylvester Stallone announced recently that he'd be making another Rambo film, fans of that series were as happy as...well, happy as Rocky fans were when they heard Stallone will be making another Rocky movie. But hey -- what about the Oscar fans out there!?

Fear not, non-Rambo and non-Rocky Stallone enthusiasts. As part of his career reclamation project, Stallone will be revisiting several of his famous movie roles in the next few years. Here, Fametracker provides an exclusive look at Stallone's upcoming projects.

Judge Dredd 2: Dreddfull

While enjoying a well-deserved retirement, Dredd and his two sidekicks are called back into active service when a menacing geneticist (Malcolm McDowell) develops a deadly virus that's passed on through the drool of incapacitated senior citizens. But while he was poisoning the drool, he forgot about the Dredd. This film not only reunites the fearsome law officer with his wisecracking sidekick, Fergie (Rob Schneider) but introduces audiences to his wisecracking sidekick's wisecracking sidekick, Teddie (Tom Arnold).

F.I.S.T. A.G.A.I.N.

While enjoying a well-deserved retirement, former teamster Johnny D. Kovak learns that corrupt practices are once again endangering workers at a large automaker, which has been bought out by a heartless German executive, Herrman Kraut (Jon Voigt). When his grandson, Johnny D. Kovak III (Nick Stahl), the current Teamster boss, is taken hostage, it's up to the original JDK to return, rallying the union members and promising to deliver their new bosses one tasty K.N.U.C.K.L.E. S.A.N.D.W.I.C.H. With a side order of sour kraut.

Tango & Cash & Carry

When a ruthless gang leader (The Shield's Benito Martinez) starts selling high-grade poison heroin on the streets of L.A., it's an epidemic so bad that not even ass-kicking and name-taking super cop Yolanda "Landa" Carry (Wanda Sykes) can handle it. At least not alone. So she calls in Nathan "Nate" Cash (Paul Walker), the son of former super cop Gabriel "Gabe" Cash (Kurt Russell, in a cameo). But the brash young Cash needs a steadying hand, so he reluctantly partners with his dad's old sparring partner, Raymond "Ray" Tango (Stallone), who'd been enjoying a well-deserved retirement on his yacht, the 2 To Tango.

Stop! Or My Grandfather Will Shoot!

Sgt. Joe Bomowski (Stallone) is back, and this time he's the crotchety one with the itchy trigger finger! When Bomowski's granddaughter (Jordana Brewster) tries to ship him off to a home where he can enjoy a well-deserved retirement, Bomowski blames it on her new meddlesome boyfriend (Chad Michael Murray) -- and vows to get revenge. It's only when the ghost of his dear, departed mother (Estelle Getty, in a cameo) intercedes that Joe realizes he's the one who needs to Stop! Or his relationship with his daughter will be shot!

Rhinestoneoceros

A sequel to the 1981 hit Rhinestone, in which big-time country singer (Dolly Parton) turned tough-guy cabbie Nick Martinelli (Stallone) into a countrified singing success. This time around, the task is up to Martinelli, now a struggling Nashville record producer abandoned by his one-time protégé (LeAnn Rimes) and looking to land one last smash hit, so he can finally enjoy a well-deserved retirement when, after being taunted by a local DJ (Patton Oswalt), Martinelli claims he can turn anyone into a star -- even an animal! But while he was thinking chimp, the DJ was thinking rhino. Rhino records, indeed! Hold the horn section!
