Naming your sequels can be tricky. Some movies simply slap a number on to the original title -- The Godfather II, Jaws 2, and so on. Other films steal a memorable moment, or even a popular line of dialogue, from their progenitor to use for a name; for example, the follow-up to In the Heat of the Night, for example, is titled They Call Me MISTER Tibbs!.

Some wily producers, however, prefer the practice of giving their sequels wacky names that build on the premise of the first film's title. So you have Die Hard, Die Harder, and Die Hard: With A Vengeance. Or you have I Know What You Did Last Summer and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Or, Dude, Where's My Car? and Seriously, Dude, Where's My Car?. Or, as of this weekend, Analyze That, the follow-up to Analyze This.

Billy Crystal has already said he'd like the third movie to be called Analyze the Other Thing. That's all well and good for the third movie, but what about all the subsequent sequels? A little short-sighted, aren't we, Mr. Crystal?

Thankfully, we at Fametracker aren't so short-sighted. We're far-sighted. Or, rather, long-sighted. In any case, we possess the kind of sight that allows us to see far into the future, to the seventh or eighth hilarious installment of the adventures of mobster Paul Vitti and his lovably neurotic shrink, Dr. Ben Sobol. And we see that these films will need titles.

So we're providing some suggestions, free of charge. Also, we decided to forward some possible sequel titles for a few other franchises and potential franchises as well.
